5.2 Overview of the Data Science Life Cycle

Data Science is not covered in a single step. It follows a series of steps that help in solving a problem. This is what we call the Data Science Life Cycle (DSLC). DSLC usually comprises the following steps:

1. Understanding the Problem
2. Collecting Data
3. Cleaning and Validating Data
4. Analyzing Data
5. Interpreting Data
6. Visualizing and Communicating Results
