1.4.1 Memory Leaks

Caches without bounds, forgotten listeners, growing lists, native buffers not freed.

Why it matters

A leak is a ticking restart. Restarts drop in-flight work and look like flaky deploys.

How it is used

Cap caches. Heap profiles (pprof, clinic, dotnet-dump). Restart on RSS limit as a safety net, not the fix. Watch RSS over days, not minutes.

Discuss theoretical concepts, mathematical formulas, and architectural foundations.
