Translatory, rotatory, and vibratory motion with examples.

2.3 Types of Motion

We observe different types of motion in our daily life. A train moves almost along a straight line, the blades of a fan rotate about an axis, and a swing vibrates about its mean position. Generally, there are three types of motion of bodies:

  1. Translatory motion
  2. Rotatory motion
  3. Vibratory motion

Discuss theoretical concepts, mathematical formulas, and architectural foundations.
