Solution
Cloud deployment models define how cloud services are made available. The main models are Public, Private, Hybrid, and Multi-Cloud.
Public Cloud: Shared over the internet among many organizations and managed by a third-party provider. Example: Amazon Web Services (AWS) for virtual servers and storage.
Private Cloud: Exclusive to one organization, on-premises or hosted by a third party, not shared. Example: a large bank's private cloud for sensitive customer data.
Hybrid Cloud: Combines public and private clouds. Example: a company uses the public cloud for everyday operations and a private cloud for sensitive data, moving extra load to the public cloud when busy.
Multi-Cloud: Services from several providers at once. Example: AWS for an e-commerce site, Microsoft Azure for ERP, and Google Cloud Platform for analytics and machine learning.
Public clouds are cost-effective but less secure; private clouds are more secure but expensive; hybrid clouds offer flexibility; multi-clouds provide resilience.
